Jan Moody established Moody Walls and More in 2001 after developing an interest in faux painting. Born and raised in Galesburg, IL, she left a 25-year career in retail management to relocate to Peoria in 1996 with her husband. Jan spent several years faux finishing for family and friends, and upon seeing an opportunity and demand for her services pursued a career in this field.

To date, Jan has attended and earned certificates of completion at numerous classes and training seminars, including: Marvelous Finishes, Old World Ceiling, Color Theory, Stencil, Faux Furniture, Lusterstone, Faux Finishing, Marbling, Wall Glazing, Venetian Plaster, and Stenciling.

Her customer service background, extensive and continuous training, high quality products and attention to detail have contributed largely to her company’s growth and success over the years.
